RD Technologies announced an upgrade to its enterprise-focused cross-border payments and digital finance ecosystem, expanding banking partnerships and payment channel connectivity across Africa–Asia trade flows. The initiative targets corporate needs for cross-border collections, foreign exchange conversion, and treasury management.
On the banking front, RD Technologies will jointly explore a bank-led cross-border trade settlement solution with Stanbic Bank Ghana, supported by stablecoin technology, initially focusing on Ghanaian companies making B2B payments to Asian suppliers. The company is also working with Transika, a Ghana-based digital asset infrastructure provider, to assess cross-border settlement models and stablecoin applicability for Ghana-Asia trade.
In the digital dollar space, RD Technologies will support the expansion of US dollar stablecoin RDUSD, issued by Anchorage Digital Bank N.A.—the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the United States. RDUSD is designed to comply with the U.S. GENIUS Act regulatory framework, deployed on HSK Chain, pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, and subject to third-party audits.
