Notion has upgraded its AI Agent capabilities, enabling autonomous operation through dedicated computers and browsers with task execution windows extending up to 24 hours. The update introduces improved context management and a new "Review for me" mode featuring built-in safety checks for supervised workflows.
The enhanced Auto model routing system now balances quality, speed, and cost across tasks. Notion claims the updated agents achieve performance comparable to Opus 5.5 and Astra on over 20 common tasks while reducing average costs by approximately 90%. The platform also supports connecting personal agents to existing ChatGPT subscriptions, with enterprise Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) functionality entering private alpha testing.
Additional features include MCP memory synchronization going live, with skill usage via MCP coming soon. AI usage will be integrated into a unified credit system, while an upcoming AI Command Center will provide usage tracking, spending limits, alerts, and model/agent permission management.
