Mysten Labs has named Kevin Boon as its new CEO, marking a significant leadership transition for the Sui Network developer. Co-founder Evan Cheng will step down from the CEO role but remain with the company as CTO to spearhead a newly formed artificial intelligence division. Cheng stated that the new AI unit will develop products enabling autonomous agents to operate within user-defined parameters. These upcoming tools will leverage both the Sui Network and Walrus infrastructure to facilitate controlled agent execution on-chain.
