BNB Chain prediction market platform Myriad Markets voided 10 markets on October 26 after attackers exploited a compromised internal wallet to manipulate outcomes. The vulnerability stemmed from an unnamed third-party library used in backend services, with exposure occurring several weeks prior to the incident. Myriad confirmed that no funds were withdrawn by the attackers and all assets have been recovered. The platform will automatically refund both long and short positions at the last price before the attack, deducting any false profits already claimed. Refunds will be distributed directly to user wallets without requiring applications, funded through recovered assets and market liquidity pools. Affected markets included predictions on Base token issuance in 2026, U.S. midterm elections, crypto and commodity prices, and George Russell winning the 2026 F1 Drivers' Championship.
