MetaEra CEO Zhang Yutong has disclosed key organizational strategies at Moonshot, highlighting a flat structure and AI-driven hiring processes. Speaking at Peking University, Zhang revealed that Moonshot, with around 300 employees, has eliminated job titles to foster a flexible work environment. Employees can transition between roles, such as from pre-training to post-training, reflecting the company's belief in universal human intelligence.
Moonshot employs an AI interview system that prioritizes candidates' ability to generate and iterate on original ideas, disregarding academic backgrounds. This system evaluates candidates based on their abstract thinking and persistence in experimentation. Additionally, Zhang emphasized Moonshot's focus on productivity applications, specifically targeting complex, high-value tasks, and confirmed that their K2.6 model is optimized for Huawei's Ascend chips. She also advocated for open-source models, suggesting they enhance security by encouraging broader participation.
