The Korea Financial Security Institute has announced a strategic initiative to bolster smart contract security through three key actions: developing verification tools, training digital asset professionals, and establishing a verification system. The institute plans to create specialized security verification tools to automatically detect major vulnerabilities in smart contracts used for digital asset services like security tokens and stablecoins. These tools will focus on high-frequency risks such as reentrancy attacks, access permission errors, and collateral verification omissions. Additionally, a security verification system with a checklist will be developed, alongside the publication of a 'Smart Contract Security Guide'. The institute will also conduct seminars and collaborative mechanisms for financial companies' digital asset and security leaders to enhance knowledge sharing on smart contract security.
