Goldman Sachs has raised its target price for TSMC from NT$3,100 to NT$3,300 and maintained a "Buy" rating, citing accelerating AI demand across GPUs, networking chips, and server CPUs. Analyst Evelyn Yu identified stronger CPU demand driven by Agentic AI as the key catalyst for the upgraded outlook over the past year.
The bank now projects TSMC's revenue to grow 42.0% in 2026 and 36.9% in 2027 in USD terms, with gross margins reaching 67.2% and 67.5%, respectively. Capital expenditure forecasts were also increased significantly, rising from $78 billion to $85 billion for 2027 and from $82 billion to $98 billion for 2028 to support long-term customer requirements.
