Garrett Jin said Bitcoin’s consolidation phase is not yet over after the asset reached a weekly high of $82,300 but failed to break the key $82,500 resistance level, returning to its trading range. He said the market may not have completed even half of the broader consolidation process.
If Bitcoin reclaims the area above $82,500 with stronger spot demand, the next resistance range sits between $83,000 and $86,000. If spot demand remains weak, initial support is at $76,000 to $77,000; a break below that range could trigger a move toward $74,000 to $75,000, with key demand support near $72,000 to $72,500. Jin maintained a roughly 70% probability that the cycle bottom is $60,000 and said he is keeping lower risk exposure in the short term despite a constructive macro outlook before year-end.
