Fortitude Mining Holdings has appointed former Hut 8 CEO Jaime Leverton as its new chief executive officer, with former CEO Andrea Childs transitioning to the role of COO. Leverton is expected to continue leading the combined entity following Fortitude's pending merger with HeartSciences, which plans to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker "TUDE."
The Zcash-focused miner reported producing 72,696 ZEC in the first half of 2026, representing approximately 28% of total network output during the period. Fortitude also signed a purchase agreement with Bitmain for 9,000 Antminer Z15 Pro units, with delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026 to support its proprietary power and site infrastructure.
