Fetch.AI has launched its Agent Execution Verification System (AEVS) to ensure verifiable AI agent operations within its ecosystem. Announced on May 12, AEVS provides tamper-evident, cryptographic receipts for every action an AI agent performs, such as processing refunds or approving payments. These receipts are stored on-chain, allowing independent verification and creating an auditable trail for all agent interactions.
Following the announcement, Fetch.AI's native token, FET, saw a 3.15% increase, contrasting with a 0.87% decline in the broader crypto market. FET plays a crucial role in the Fetch.AI network, facilitating agent discovery, deployment, and AI-to-AI payments. The introduction of AEVS builds on previous advancements, including the ASI:One beta and AI-to-AI payment capabilities, enhancing the platform's functionality and transparency as it supports over 2 million agents.
