Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF (BBSOL) has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management for the first time, 10 months after launch. The fund now accounts for more than half of the total assets held across Solana spot ETFs, according to The Block.
Bitwise said most inflows arrived during the crypto bear market. Since Solana spot ETFs began trading in September 2025, cumulative volume has exceeded $13 billion and net inflows have reached about $1.7 billion, with no sustained period of net outflows. BBSOL remains about 40% below its listing price, while Solana is down 60% from its all-time high, although the token has rebounded nearly 45% over the past month.
Goldman Sachs is currently the largest known holder with a position worth nearly $90 million. In the second quarter, institutional advisers were net buyers, while hedge funds were net sellers.
