BTC pulled back from around $80,000 to near $77,000 after previously rising from $62,000 to $82,000 before the signal appeared.
Similar post-golden-cross pullbacks have occurred repeatedly: BTC fell from $52,000 to $40,000 after the 2021 signal, from $23,000 to $20,000 in February 2023, from $70,000 to $67,000 in October 2024, and from $110,000 to $100,000 in May 2025. Analysts noted that while the golden cross is viewed as a long-term bullish signal, it is a lagging indicator and often appears after much of a rally has already occurred.
