Anthropic has upgraded Claude Cowork and Claude Code to let the AI operate a user’s Mac in the background on macOS 15 and later. The update enables Claude to perform clicks, typing, and navigation through screen interaction while users continue other tasks, with an optional full-control mode available in settings. The feature is aimed at both knowledge work and software development, supporting document processing, file organization, and coding tasks. Access is currently limited to Pro and Max individual subscribers, while Team and Enterprise plans are not yet included.
