Anduril and Qualcomm announced the launch of the BlueChip product line, aimed at rebuilding U.S. computer manufacturing capabilities. The first product is a laptop designed and assembled in the United States, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X series platform. Anduril has already built a functional prototype, with orders expected to open in 2027.
More than 90% of the prototype's component procurement costs come from suppliers in the U.S. and allied nations. Circuit board assembly will take place at Anduril's Arsenal-1 facility in Ohio. The BlueChip line targets government, defense, emergency response, and public safety sectors, with a long-term goal of establishing a fully domestic supply chain through phased rollout.
