The Arbitrum DAO has initiated a governance vote to release 30,766 ETH, valued at approximately $71.1 million, to aid the DeFi United recovery plan following the Kelp DAO attack. These funds were initially frozen by the Arbitrum Security Council on April 20 after being transferred to the Arbitrum network by the attacker. This proposal, if approved, will mark the largest funding allocation under the DeFi United initiative. Early voting shows strong support, with 16.9 million ARB tokens in favor and no opposition recorded. The voting process is set to conclude on May 7.
