Robotics data startup Mecka AI has completed a $60 million Series B funding round led by Sequoia Capital, valuing the company at approximately $500 million. The round included participation from Nvidia, Microsoft's M12 venture fund, Qualcomm, and Samsung Electronics. Mecka AI specializes in collecting and analyzing human motion data to train humanoid robots and other robotic systems. The capital will support the startup's efforts to build comprehensive motion datasets essential for advancing embodied AI and autonomous robotics development.
