The CAP token of the Cap stablecoin protocol closed late October 2026 at $0.1113, its highest close since trading began in June 2026, while the supply of Cap's cUSD dollar token on Ethereum sat 27% below its mid-August high. That leaves our Cap price prediction with a base case of $0.0804-$0.112 for 2026 and $0.0648-$0.112 for 2030.
CAP rose 61% from the end of September to its late-October close, while the cUSD supply on Ethereum fell 13.4% over the same days. The last day did most of that work, a 38.32% jump on $108.0 million of CoinMarketCap volume. It left CAP 99.31% above its 100-day average and 7.20% under the $0.1200 intraday high of 12 October.

What Is Cap Crypto?
Cap is an Ethereum credit protocol where lenders deposit stablecoins and receive cUSD, a dollar token whose reserves Cap lends to whitelisted institutional borrowers as on-chain private credit. CAP is the protocol's own token, at Ethereum contract 0x99991c6AAbba5a096f24f250b73580F5179b9999 with the same address on BNB Chain, and it's unrelated to the CAP tokens of Capminal and Based Brians on Base.
Where Is the CAP Price After the Late-October Close?
CAP closed late October 2026 at $0.1113 on CoinMarketCap, 38.32% above the prior day's $0.08049 close, and CoinGecko's close showed a 39.29% gain. CoinMarketCap logged $108.0 million of volume on that final day, 5.59 times the median of the 30 days before it.
That close beat the mid-October high close of $0.09700 from 12 October by 14.79%. It still finished under the 12 October intraday high on CoinMarketCap, the highest price CAP printed to late October.
Cap's blog, whose newest post to the late-October close announced in-app support, and its documentation carried nothing that explained the jump.
CAP has a total supply of 10 billion tokens, and about 1.56 billion of them sat outside the project's 30-day timelock at the late-October close, a market value of about $174.0 million at that price.
What Does CAP's Price History Show?
CAP began trading on 26 June 2026, and its partial first session closed at $0.02938. The price slid to $0.01598 on 11 July 2026, its lowest close to late October, and the late-October close is 6.97 times that floor.
A first run lifted CAP 143.2% to the July high close of $0.03885 on 31 July. August carried it higher, and the 2 September close of $0.07243 was the best before October. Four days later CAP had fallen 40.68% to $0.04297. September's closes stayed under $0.0700 from there. The early-October low close of $0.06528 came on 4 October, and the climb from it ran to the mid-October high.
From there CAP slid back to $0.06717 in mid-October 2026, and a late-October 2026 close of $0.07181 started the two-day climb of 55.04% that ended at the highest close to late October.
Four months of trading hold no completed cycle, the full rise and fall a forecast would need to measure how far CAP stretches at a peak.
Why Did CAP Rise While cUSD Shrank?
CAP rose 61% from the end of September to its late-October close, while the cUSD supply on Ethereum fell 13.4% over the same days.
Lenders mint cUSD when they deposit reserve assets, as Cap's protocol overview describes, and the token is burned when they redeem. Its supply on Ethereum is the count of cUSD still outstanding, staked or not.
That count peaked at 103.2 million cUSD at the end of 14 August 2026, the highest end-of-day reading from late June to late October. The late-October figure of 75.38 million stood 27.0% below it, while CAP's close climbed 70.82% from its 14 August level of $0.06518.
The fall wasn't a straight line. The cUSD supply dropped to 61.52 million in early October and rebuilt to 82.76 million by mid-October 2026, before slipping 8.92% into the late-October close.

Method: each cUSD figure is the token contract's total supply on Ethereum at the last block of that day, and each CAP figure is CoinMarketCap's daily close.
Check: a second Ethereum node returned identical supplies at every block tested, and cUSD on Cap's three other chains totalled about 55,860 tokens in late October 2026, 0.07% of the Ethereum figure.
A token that closed at twice its 100-day average while its protocol's dollar token shrank was pricing growth that the chain's count, still under its mid-August peak, did not show. That spread is the deposit gap this forecast has to price.
CAP Technical Analysis
CAP's chart rests on 122 CoinMarketCap daily closes, from its partial first session in June 2026 to the late-October close.
Support
The nearest support at the late-October close was the $0.09700 mid-October high close, the level CAP broke through on its final day. Below it come the prior day's $0.08049 close and the 50-day average at $0.06484, which the late-October close cleared by 71.72%.
Resistance
Above the close, the series to late October holds two intraday highs, the final day's $0.1121 and the $0.1200 of 12 October. Past $0.1200 the chart holds no traded level, so any higher close would be new ground with no history behind it.
The Moving Averages
The 100-day average of $0.05586 is the longest the 122 closes support, and the 50-day ran 16.07% above it at the late-October close. With no 200-day average yet, the chart has no 50/200 cross to read, and both averages were rising.
RSI and MACD
The 14-day RSI read 71.4 at the late-October close, past the 70 line that marks overbought, on 122 closes of data. Its highest reading to late October was 80.0 on 14 August 2026. MACD crossed above its signal line on the final day, with both lines above zero.
Cap Price Prediction 2026
CAP had 67 daily closes left in 2026 after the late-October close, and this cap token price prediction builds every bound from CoinMarketCap closes and averages.

On the downside, the bear range starts at the 100-day average ($0.0558) and tops out at the prior day's close ($0.0805). From that close ($0.0804) the base runs to the late-October close ($0.112), and the bull climbs from there ($0.111) to the 12 October intraday high ($0.120).
We weight the base case, because a fresh MACD cross above zero supports the close and an RSI of 71.4 limits the room above it.
Cap Price Prediction 2027
A cap crypto price prediction for 2027 has to allow for the supply the timelock still holds. Its base case for 2027 runs $0.0558-$0.0970, from the 100-day average to the mid-October high close, and the bull range of $0.0969-$0.120 runs from that close to the 12 October intraday high.
Below that, the bear range is $0.0173-$0.0559, and its floor of about $0.0174 is the price if all 10 billion CAP reached the market and buyers paid no more for them than the 1.56 billion CAP outside the timelock fetched in late October. At that price CAP's fully diluted market cap would equal that $174.0 million.
Cap Price Prediction 2028
In 2028 the base case drops to $0.0388-$0.0805, from the July high close to the $0.08049 close the day before the jump. We set it under 2027's because the cUSD supply has fallen since mid-August and the timelock still holds most of the tokens.
CAP's 2028 bear range runs $0.0173-$0.0389, from the dilution floor to the July high close. Its bull range of $0.0804-$0.120 runs from the close before the jump to the 12 October intraday high.
Cap Price Prediction 2030
The Cap price prediction 2030 base case runs $0.0648-$0.112, from the 50-day average to the late-October close. For 2029 the base runs $0.0558-$0.112, from the 100-day average to the same close.
In 2030 the bear range runs $0.0159-$0.0559, from the lowest close to late October up to the 100-day average, and 2029's runs $0.0159-$0.0389 up to the July high close. Both years share a bull range of $0.111-$0.120. With no completed cycle, the series gives no basis for any figure above the $0.1200 intraday high.

What About 2035 and 2040?
The table gives the yearly growth CAP would need from its $0.1113 late-October close to reach each target by 1 January 2036 or 1 January 2041, counted on exact days. None of these rates is a forecast.

At $1 the 10 billion CAP would carry a fully diluted value of $10 billion, against $1.113 billion at the late-October close.
What Could Drive CAP Higher or Lower?
-
The cUSD supply. Anyone can read the total cUSD on Ethereum at the end of each day, and a climb back toward the August high would narrow the gap this forecast measures.
-
Supply leaving the timelock. Any transfer out of the timelock that owns the CAP contract has to be queued on chain 30 days ahead. That notice matters, because a large release would hit the float the way a cliff vesting date does when a block of locked tokens frees up at once.
-
Momentum after a record. CAP gave back 30.75% in the week after its 12 October record close, when its RSI stood at 69.0 against 71.4 at the late-October close.
What Are the Risks of Investing in Cap?
A Float Far Smaller Than the Supply
Only the CAP outside the timelock can reach the market without a queued release, and the rest of the 10 billion waits inside a contract the project controls. How fast that held-back supply reaches buyers is a question of tokenomics and the internal economy of crypto, and every CAP release has to wait in the timelock queue for 30 days first.
An Upgradeable Contract
The CAP code in place at the late-October close has no function that mints new tokens after setup, but the timelock that owns the contract can swap that code for a new version after its 30-day delay. The 10 billion count holds for that code, and an upgrade could change it.
Redemptions and Borrowers
Cap's risk disclosures say cUSD redemptions may be delayed when the reserves are fully lent out. Lenders rely on underwriter collateral if a borrower defaults, so a strain on cUSD would reach CAP holders through the protocol's lender base.
A Ticker Shared With Other Coins
Capminal and Based Brians both trade as CAP on Base, and CoinCap is a price-data site with no tie to either. Searches for Cap also surface the energy price cap and the market cap metric, so the contract address in Cap's docs is the reliable check.
Is Cap a Good Investment?
On the record to late October 2026, CAP is a bet that Cap's lender base grows back into a late-October close that stood at roughly double its 100-day average. Our view is that the token has run ahead of its protocol, since the cUSD supply that measures that base sat 27.0% under its August high.
The strongest case for CAP is that cUSD supply still grew 12.71% from the end of June to the late-October close, so more cUSD was minted than burned across the token's trading life. Borrowers on Cap are whitelisted institutions, and Cap's docs put every loan behind underwriter collateral.
How to Get Exposure to CAP
CAP has no perpetual or order-book spot pair on Phemex, so exposure to it means holding the token itself.
-
Match the contract address to the one in Cap's docs, which starts and ends with 9999, since two other CAP tokens trade on Base.
-
Read the cUSD supply on Ethereum before you size a position, because it is a daily figure that shows lenders joining or leaving.
-
Watch the timelock for queued transfers, which appear on chain 30 days before they can execute.
-
For wider crypto exposure, Bitcoin and other major coins trade as futures on Phemex. Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cap coin price prediction for 2026?
CAP's 2026 base case is $0.0804-$0.112, from the close before the late-October 2026 jump to the late-October close on CoinMarketCap. Its bear range reaches down to the $0.0558 100-day average and its bull range up to $0.120, the 12 October 2026 intraday high.
What is the cap crypto coin price prediction for 2030?
The 2030 base case for CAP is $0.0648-$0.112, from the 50-day average to the late-October 2026 close. The full 2030 range runs $0.0159-$0.120, from the lowest close to late October to the highest intraday price CAP printed on CoinMarketCap by the late-October close.
Is Cap bullish or bearish?
Bullish on trend at the late-October 2026 close. CAP finished 99.31% above its 100-day average with MACD over its signal line, but its 14-day RSI of 71.4 was overbought. The 122 closes are too few for a 200-day reading.
What is CAP's key support?
The $0.09700 mid-October high close from 12 October 2026 was the nearest support at the late-October close, and the 50-day average at $0.06484 was the deeper one. CAP's lowest close to late October was $0.01598 on 11 July 2026.
Can CAP reach its all-time high again?
CAP's late-October 2026 close was its highest close to that day. Its highest price to late October, the $0.1200 intraday high of 12 October 2026 on CoinMarketCap, stood 7.76% above that close and tops every bull range in this forecast.
What is cap coin?
Cap coin usually means CAP, the token of the Cap credit protocol on Ethereum, whose lenders hold the cUSD dollar token. It shares a ticker with Capminal and Based Brians on Base, and it is unrelated to CoinCap or to the market cap metric.
Bottom Line
CAP's highest close to late October priced a protocol that is growing, while the chain put its dollar token 27.0% under the mid-August high on the same day. One of the two has to give, and a close back under the $0.05586 100-day average would say the price was the one that gave.
