AltLayer (ALT) closed mid-October 2026 at $0.0092, its highest daily close since early February 2026, with 2.63 billion tokens still waiting in the wallet that pays out its monthly unlocks. This AltLayer price prediction sets the 2026 base case at $0.008-$0.01 and the 2030 base case at $0.013-$0.042, built from levels ALT has already printed.
Those unlocks have landed for 21 straight months, 240.8 million ALT at a time since January 2025, and AltLayer's vesting plan runs them to the end of 2027. Three more full releases fall before 2026 is out, adding 9.81% to CoinMarketCap's circulating count of 7.367 billion. No code holds the rest of the supply back.

What Is AltLayer?
AltLayer builds custom rollups for other projects, including restaked rollups that draw security from EigenLayer, the protocol explained in what restaking is in DeFi. ALT is its token on Ethereum with a bridged version on BNB Chain, and AltLayer's 8004scan registry for AI agents reached mainnet in February 2026.
ALT Price History
ALT set its record close of $0.6656 on 28 March 2024, two months after its first daily close on CoinMarketCap. Each cycle high since has closed lower than the one before it, from $0.1973 in December 2024 to $0.0415 in late July 2025 and $0.0138 in early January 2026.
Two of those cycles also printed one-session spikes far above their closes. ALT touched $0.0545 intraday on 11 July 2025 and finished that day at $0.0380, and a jump to $0.0108 in late May 2026 closed at $0.0082.
The slide bottomed in late June 2026 at an all-time closing low of $0.0056, about three weeks after an intraday low of $0.005375 in early June. From that low ALT climbed 63.61% to its mid-October close of $0.0092. That close stands 10.64% above the early-May high close of $0.0083 and 98.62% below the record.
About half of that climb came in the 30 days to mid-October. ALT's close was up 4.15% on the previous day's close, 17.89% on the close a week earlier and 27.31% on the mid-September close 30 days before.
When Do AltLayer's Token Unlocks End?
AltLayer's scheduled token unlocks end in late 2027 if its own plan holds, with the investors' share finishing a year earlier.
The plan comes from a July 2024 AltLayer post that paused vesting for six months and set the next unlock for January 25, 2025. From then, tokens would vest "linearly on a monthly basis over a period of 2 years for investors."
The team and advisors got "a period of 3 years" on the same monthly terms, and so did the treasury and other holders. Linear monthly releases after a pause are the standard shape in how crypto vesting and cliffs work, and ALT's chain record follows it.
Ethereum shows 21 straight monthly releases of 240.8 million ALT from AltLayer's owner Safe between January 2025 and September 2026. CoinMarketCap's circulating count rose by 240.8 million on each of those release days.
If the monthly pattern holds, the next release lands in late October 2026, and the December 2026 release closes the investors' two-year leg.
The three releases from October to December add 722.4 million ALT, 9.81% of the circulating count at the mid-October close.
The Safe can't keep that pace for long.
Its balance covers 10.93 releases at the current size, so it would run dry with the August 2027 release, four months before the three-year mark.
Stretching the remainder to the end of 2027 works out to about 159.2 million ALT a month from January 2027, 33.89% smaller than the current release. That's our own division on the published schedule. It means the monthly release has to shrink in 2027 for the plan to last three years.
ALT Technical Analysis
ALT's 50-day average crossed above its 200-day in early October 2026, its first golden cross since August 2025. By the mid-October close the 200-day stood at $0.0068 and the 50-day at $0.0073. The price closed 35.20% above the 200-day, its 32nd straight close over that line since mid-September.
The previous golden cross came in August 2025 and gave way to a death cross seven weeks later, in early October 2025, as the July 2025 rally unwound.
Both signals work on ALT the way Bitcoin's golden cross and death cross lays them out, with the 50-day crossing the 200-day. This cross needs ALT to hold above the early-May high to avoid the same fate.
The 14-day RSI closed mid-October at 68.67, a shade under the 70 level that trading with the RSI indicator treats as overbought. Support starts at the early-May high close of $0.0083 and then the 200-day near $0.0068. Above the price, the nearest swing high on the closing chart is $0.0138 from early January 2026.
How Many ALT Tokens Are Left to Unlock?
AltLayer has 2.63 billion ALT left to unlock, 26.33% of the 10 billion maximum supply, all of it in the owner Safe on Ethereum. That's 35.74% of CoinMarketCap's circulating count of 7.367 billion. The Safe received 8.9 billion ALT when the token was created in January 2024 and has paid out 6.267 billion since.
The Safe needs two of three signatures to move funds, and it holds the tokens directly with no vesting contract in between. A simulated transfer of its whole balance went through in mid-October 2026, so the releases follow AltLayer's published plan, a promise the code doesn't enforce.
Since February 2025 each release has split two ways, 221.8 million ALT to a second Safe with the same three signers and 19.03 million elsewhere. In mid-October 2026 that second Safe moved 5.24 billion ALT into a Chainlink CCIP lock box on Ethereum.
The BNB Chain version of ALT now mints and burns through a CCIP pool, and both contracts report version 2.0.0, the release covered in Chainlink CCIP 2.0 and its verifier upgrade.
The BNB Chain supply of 5.239 billion ALT matches the lock box balance, so the lock box now backs the BNB Chain version one for one, and CoinMarketCap's circulating count didn't change. AltLayer's updates page, whose newest entry dates to February 2026, carries no post about it.
The lock box answers to the owner Safe, which can authorize addresses to withdraw from it, so its 5.24 billion ALT also moves on two signatures.
Supply growth sets the arithmetic for the forecast below. ALT's market value at the mid-October close was $67.78 million on CoinMarketCap's count.
Held flat through the three 2026 releases, that value works out to $0.008379 a token, about the early-May high close. Held flat through the full unlock, it comes to $0.006778, close to the 200-day average.
Method: the Safe's balance comes from the ALT contract on Ethereum, the releases from the Safe's full transfer history and the schedule from AltLayer's July 2024 post. The flat-value prices divide the mid-October market value by each new circulating count. As a check, 10 billion minus CoinMarketCap's count leaves 81,047 ALT more than the Safe holds, a 0.003% gap.
ALT Price Prediction 2026
An AltLayer token price prediction for the rest of 2026 starts with the 722.4 million ALT still due. ALT's 2026 base case runs from $0.0083 to $0.0093, between the early-May high close and the mid-October close. That's where the flat-value math lands if buyers take the new supply without paying up.

ALT Price Prediction 2027
An ALT crypto price prediction for 2027 has to cover the last 12 releases, about 1.910 billion ALT if the Safe pays out what it holds. ALT's 2027 bear case runs $0.0056-$0.0084, from the all-time closing low to the early-May 2026 high close.
ALT's 2027 base case runs $0.0092-$0.0139, from the mid-October close to the early-January 2026 high close. It assumes buyers absorb a full year of releases and still lift the price. Its bull case runs $0.0138-$0.0204, up to the $0.0203 high close of late October 2025, the highest close in the year to mid-October 2026.
ALT Price Prediction 2028
By 2028 the published schedule has every remaining ALT out of the Safe, and holding the mid-October market value through the full unlock gives $0.006778. That price falls inside the 2028 bear case of $0.0056-$0.0069, which spans the all-time closing low and the 200-day average.
The 2028 base case widens to $0.0083-$0.0204, from the early-May 2026 high close to the late-October 2025 high close. ALT's 2028 bull case runs $0.0203-$0.0415, up to the $0.0415 high close of late July 2025, which capped a 62.82% rally from late June 2025.
ALT Price Prediction 2030
For 2029, ALT's bear case runs $0.0056-$0.0093, between the all-time closing low and the mid-October close.
The 2029 base case runs $0.0138-$0.0415, from the early-January 2026 high close to the late-July 2025 high close.
The 2029 bull case runs $0.0414-$0.0545 and stops at the July 2025 intraday high. ALT printed its record close in its listing year, and every cycle high since has closed lower. With no cycle-over-cycle expansion to scale from, the top of that July 2025 cycle is the ceiling.
An AltLayer price prediction for 2030 keeps those ranges, a base case of $0.0138-$0.0415 inside a full range of $0.0056-$0.0545. ALT's own history offers no higher level to build on. The year table puts each base case beside its full bear-to-bull range.

A dollar ALT is 108.7 times the mid-October close and would value the 10 billion supply at $10 billion. Every one of those rates also has to carry the 2.63 billion ALT still due from the Safe.
Is AltLayer Crypto a Good Investment?
AltLayer crypto is a high-risk investment until the releases end in late 2027, because the supply calendar outweighs the chart. October's golden cross shows real demand. Against it stand 722.4 million new ALT by the end of 2026 and about 1.910 billion more in 2027. Each release needs buyers at the going price. And each cycle high since 2024 has closed below the one before it.
That view changes if ALT closes above $0.0138 while the releases keep landing, because that would show demand outpacing the calendar. It also changes if the Safe sends less than its usual amount in a month, since that would cut supply ahead of plan.
How to Get Exposure to ALT
The ALTUSDT perpetual and the ALT/USDT spot pair were both delisted from Phemex in 2026, the perpetual in mid-July and the spot pair in mid-September. ALT deposits and withdrawals on Phemex closed with the spot pair, and Phemex announced each delisting a day ahead.
ALT itself still trades on Ethereum and BNB Chain, and Phemex's listed futures give traders a route to the wider crypto market. Futures use leverage, and a leveraged position is closed automatically if losses reach its margin.
-
Create a Phemex account and complete the identity checks it asks for.
-
Deposit USDT and move it into your futures trading account.
-
Choose a listed perpetual such as BTC/USDT from the futures page.
-
Set your leverage and a stop-loss price before you place the order.
What Are the Risks of Holding ALT?
Two Signatures Can Move the Unreleased Supply
The owner Safe's 2.63 billion ALT can move on two of three signatures at any size and on any date. A month with a transfer above the usual 240.8 million would add supply faster than the plan AltLayer published in July 2024.
BNB Chain ALT Rests on One Lock Box
Every ALT on BNB Chain is backed by ALT held in one CCIP lock box on Ethereum, and that lock box answers to the same Safe. A withdrawal those signers authorize, or a fault in the bridge, would put the backing for 5.239 billion BNB Chain tokens at risk.
Each Cycle High Has Closed Lower
ALT's record close of $0.6656 is 72.34 times the mid-October close, and each cycle on the way down topped out below the one before it. The October rally has closed above the early-May high, but its mid-October close was still well under the early-January 2026 high close of $0.0138.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is the next AltLayer token unlock?
If the monthly pattern holds, the next AltLayer token unlock lands in late October 2026 with about 240.8 million ALT from the owner Safe. Releases have arrived on the 24th or 25th of every month since January 2025, and AltLayer's schedule runs them to the end of 2027.
What is AltLayer crypto?
AltLayer is a crypto project that builds custom and restaked rollups for other teams, and its 8004scan registry for AI agents went live on mainnet in February 2026. Its ALT token lives on Ethereum with a bridged version on BNB Chain and has a 10 billion maximum supply.
What is the AltLayer price prediction for 2030?
ALT's 2030 base case is $0.0138-$0.0415, from the early-January 2026 high close to the late-July 2025 high close. The full 2030 range runs $0.0056-$0.0545, from the all-time closing low of late June 2026 to the July 2025 intraday high.
What is the AltLayer coin price prediction for 2026?
For 2026 the base case is $0.0083-$0.0093, between the early-May high close and the mid-October close, with 722.4 million ALT still due before the year ends. The bear range reaches down to $0.0056 and the bull range up to $0.0139.
Can ALT reach $1?
A dollar ALT would take 66.47% growth a year from the mid-October close to the end of 2035, or 39.12% a year to the end of 2040. No range in this forecast reaches $1, and its highest bound is the $0.0545 intraday high from July 2025.
Bottom Line
ALT's October breakout ran straight into a calendar that AltLayer keeps by signature. Fifteen more releases fall due by the end of 2027 if the schedule holds, so October's rally has to survive 2.63 billion new ALT.
A close above $0.0138 with releases still landing would show demand catching the schedule. A month in which the Safe sends more than 240.8 million would show it slipping the wrong way.
