Quack AI (Q) is the governance token of an AI agent network, and its daily trading volume hit $86.08 million on 27 September 2026 on CoinMarketCap's count. Q launched on 2 September 2025 on BNB Chain and Ethereum. Holders use it to vote or hand that vote to an AI agent, and its Q402 layer lets agents pay without gas.
On 25 September the token traded only $2.29 million. It closed 26 September at $0.033901, up 40.3 percent from $0.024167, on $55.16 million of volume. It slipped 7.0 percent to $0.031519 on 27 September after a two-day swing from a $0.017646 low to a $0.055533 high on CoinMarketCap. All the while, 55.2 percent of its 10 billion supply sat outside circulation.

What Is Quack AI (Q)?
Quack AI sells itself as governance software for crypto projects in which AI agents read proposals and then carry out the result on-chain. Its documentation calls the whole system an "AI Autonomy Stack" that joins governance decisions to the payments that carry them out. On the project's homepage you get two choices on every vote. You cast it yourself, or you pick an AI agent that votes and executes on your behalf.
Those agents are the product, and our explainer on what AI agents are in crypto covers the wider category Quack AI builds for.
You stake Q to vote and delegate, and the software pays Q to the agents and relayers that do the work. Quack AI's launch announcement put the first trades at 07:00 UTC on 2 September 2025 and opened the airdrop claim the same day. The docs' release schedule set the launch float at about 16.16 percent of supply, and CoinMarketCap's first daily bar shows exactly that, 1.616 billion Q in circulation.
Why Is Quack AI Trending?
Quack AI ranked fourth on CoinMarketCap's seven-day most-searched list when we read it at 16:05 UTC on 28 September 2026, with Quant in first place.
In the 30 days to 25 September, Q averaged $3.53 million of daily volume on CoinMarketCap. The 26 September session printed $55.16 million, 24 times the day before. On 27 September the figure reached $86.08 million, the heaviest day since 8 October 2025. The closes hide how violent the tape was. On 26 September Q touched $0.041366 at 16:06 UTC and fell 57.3 percent to $0.017646 by 19:50 UTC. It recovered to close at $0.033901, its highest close since 24 October 2025.
CoinMarketCap's 27 September high of $0.055533 at 14:31 UTC stood 3.1 times the low it had printed less than 19 hours earlier. It also cleared the $0.052936 intraday peak CoinMarketCap logged on 7 October 2025, and CoinGecko stamped its own all-time high of $0.05635 at 14:29 UTC the same day. Q gave the whole day's gain back and closed 43.2 percent under CoinMarketCap's high.
No project news explains the timing. The newest items in the news strip on Quack AI's homepage, read on 28 September 2026, are dated June 2026.
How Does Quack AI Work?
Quack AI splits the job into two layers. The governance layer decides what should happen, and Q402 moves the money once a decision passes.
On the governance side, Quack AI follows the familiar model of on-chain and off-chain blockchain governance, with software agents added as voters. The docs page on governance yield lists what pays. Staking Q earns a base governance yield. Delegating to an agent earns a yield that the docs say scales "with agent accuracy and activity," and users whose proposals pass collect a contribution reward.
Q402 is the payment half. The docs' overview of the AI economy calls it Quack AI's gasless payment protocol, built on EIP-7702 and EIP-712 and designed for "AI agents and machine-to-machine payments" across seven EVM mainnets. An agent signs once, and the protocol moves any ERC-20 token without the agent holding gas. The same page lists compatibility with the separate x402 payment standard as a future release.
Each signature goes to a facilitator, and the docs' page on facilitator architecture lays out the order of work. The facilitator validates the signature and checks it against the policy engine before it pays the gas and submits the transaction. It then issues a receipt and earns rewards "in $Q tokens for verified settlements" once the payment clears. The docs' page on policy enforcement gives a worked example. A treasury sets a limit of $50,000 equivalent per transaction, and any payout above it stops before it settles.
One detail doesn't line up. The docs count seven mainnets, while the homepage read on 28 September 2026 calls Q402 "live on BNB" with "multi-chain expansion underway."
Quack AI Tokenomics
Quack AI's tokenomics start from a fixed supply of 10 billion Q. The docs' token allocation page sets that figure as both the maximum and the total, counted across Ethereum and BNB Chain together. The contract uses the same address on both chains, 0xc07e1300dc138601fa6b0b59f8d0fa477e690589, per CoinGecko's platform listing. We queried each chain's contract at 16:10 UTC on 28 September 2026. BNB Chain reported about 5.0 billion Q and Ethereum about 5.0 billion, so the supply splits almost evenly between the two deployments.

CoinMarketCap counted 4,481,191,524 Q in circulation on 27 September 2026, 44.8 percent of the maximum. At that day's $0.031519 close the circulating tokens were worth about $141.2 million.
The monthly steps in that count match the docs to within a single token. CoinMarketCap added 102,777,777 Q on 2 September 2026. The community's 3 billion Q vests at 83.33 million a month over 36 months. The 700 million treasury tokens left after launch add 19.44 million a month, and the two sum to 102.78 million. The 35,388,888 Q step on 15 September matches the ecosystem bucket's remaining 1.274 billion Q over the same 36 months. Our guide to crypto vesting and cliffs explains how schedules like these release supply.
The team and investor block is a different story. The docs allocate 2.1 billion Q, 21 percent of supply, to the core team and to investors and advisors. Both carry a 12-month cliff that runs to 2 September 2026 when counted from the launch. On the docs' 24-month terms that works out to about 87.5 million Q a month, and CoinMarketCap's count through 27 September shows no step of that size. The docs put the full unlock timeline at 37 months.
How to Buy Quack AI Safely
Phemex lists no Q market. Its product list shows a Q spot pair and a Q perpetual that both opened at 08:10 UTC on 2 September 2025. Both pairs read Delisted when we checked on 28 September 2026, so Q has no live perpetual on Phemex and you'd buy it on-chain or on another venue.
The first check is the address and the chain. Quack AI's contract has the same address on BNB Chain and Ethereum, so a wallet on the wrong network can show the right address and hold nothing. Match both the chain and all 42 characters of the address before you approve a swap. Our guide to how a rug pull works covers what can happen to buyers who skip that step.
The second check is depth. DexScreener showed about $1.02 million of liquidity across Q's decentralized pools at 16:10 UTC on 28 September 2026. One Q/USDT pool on BNB Chain held about $1.01 million of it, and that pool opened on 31 August 2025, two days before the token's launch. The Ethereum deployment held less than $200 of pool liquidity at the same read, so a large order you route there would move the price hard.
What Are the Risks of Quack AI?
Supply arrives every month. Three buckets that vest monthly add about 138.2 million Q a month on the docs' terms. At the 27 September close that's about $4.35 million of new tokens a month. That's more than the $3.53 million Q averaged in daily volume over the 30 days before the spike, and the 2.1 billion Q for the team and investors comes on top of it.
A two-day spike can fade fast. Q lost 57.3 percent inside four hours on 26 September and closed 27 September 43.2 percent under that day's high. Q last traded this heavily on 8 October 2025, the day after its record close of $0.045621. From that close it fell 83.3 percent to its lowest close on 7 April 2026.
The ticker is crowded. CoinGecko's full coin list on 28 September 2026 carries three tokens under the symbol Q, with QORA on Polygon and QuantumCoin listed beside Quack AI. A separate token called Rich Quack is listed as QUACK on BNB Chain and Solana, so a search on the project's name can surface it too.
The feeds disagree on the high. CoinMarketCap puts the 27 September intraday peak at $0.055533 and CoinGecko at $0.05635, about 1.5 percent apart. Both are intraday prints. On closing prices the record still belongs to 7 October 2025, when CoinMarketCap logged $0.045621.
Volume runs far ahead of on-chain depth. The $86.08 million that traded on 27 September was about 84 times the $1.02 million in Q's decentralized pools on the 28 September read. A pool that shallow can't absorb a day like 27 September if the flow reverses.
Is Quack AI a Good Investment?
Q closed 27 September 2025 at $0.027895, so the 27 September 2026 close of $0.031519 stands 13.0 percent higher a year on. The same close is 30.9 percent below the record close of 7 October 2025 and 4.1 times the lowest close, $0.007623 on 7 April 2026.
For the token to hold value over years, Q402 payments and agent voting have to create demand for Q that outpaces the monthly supply the docs schedule. The docs' governance yield page says protocol revenue and transaction fees flow into a shared yield pool for stakers, delegators and relayers. None of the docs pages cited here gives a fee rate, a revenue figure or the share that reaches stakers, and that's the gap a buyer has to close with evidence.
It suits you if you want exposure to AI agent payments and can hold through 21 percent of supply clearing its cliff. It doesn't suit anyone who needs to exit a large position on-chain in a hurry.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Quack AI legit?
Quack AI's launch announcement of 1 September 2025 says it raised $3.6 million from backers including Animoca Brands. Its docs publish the contract address and the vesting terms, and you can check both against CoinMarketCap's supply count.
Where can I buy the Quack AI token?
Q trades on decentralized pools and on other venues. Quack AI's own website links a bridge for moving Q between BNB Chain and Ethereum, and you should check the chain before bridging anything.
What is the Quack AI price?
Q closed at $0.031519 on 27 September 2026 on CoinMarketCap, after a session low of $0.023762. CoinGecko puts the all-time low at $0.00527092, an intraday print on 28 March 2026.
What is Q402 in Quack AI crypto?
Q402 is the sign-to-pay layer that lets an agent pay in any ERC-20 token with one signature and no gas. Quack AI's homepage says it works on any EVM network that supports EIP-7702 and advertises a free trial of 2,000 sponsored transactions for USDC and USDT payments.
Final Thoughts
The 27 September crowd bought a token whose supply calendar is public down to the last Q. Each month's scheduled release is worth more than a full trading day was before the spike. The team and investor tranches haven't started to show up in the count yet, and anyone buying after 27 September is betting that agents will pay through Q402 faster than that calendar pays out Q.
