Fundstrat Global Advisors co-founder Tom Lee has reiterated his bullish Ethereum price target of $250,000, as outlined in a recent report by Etherealize. The report employs a long-term valuation model, emphasizing Ethereum's unique value proposition through staking, which differentiates it from Bitcoin and gold. Lee's endorsement adds weight to the argument that Ethereum's network use and staking income could allow it to capture part of the monetary premium traditionally assigned to gold and Bitcoin. The Etherealize report estimates a market opportunity of approximately $31.5 trillion, suggesting Ethereum could reach $250,000 based on its current circulating supply of 121 million tokens. The report highlights Ethereum's staking yield of 2% to 4% annually as a practical advantage over gold and Bitcoin, which do not offer similar returns. Additionally, the report argues that Ethereum's Proof-of-Stake model enhances network security, as potential attackers would need to risk significant ETH holdings, which could be slashed if an attack occurs.
