Hyperscale Data has shut down all Bitcoin miners at its Michigan data center as it pivots the site toward AI computing infrastructure. The company signed a 20 MW master service agreement with an unnamed California cloud service provider that is expected to generate about $1.2 billion in revenue over 20 years.
The agreement includes a 32 MW expansion option that could lift total revenue beyond $3 billion if exercised. To support the transition, Hyperscale Data recently sold 830 BTC for about $53 million and still holds 275 BTC worth roughly $21.2 million. The company continues to operate around 10 MW of Bitcoin mining capacity in Montana and is evaluating an additional 125 MW expansion there.
