This new offering targets reinforcement learning, AI agent tool use, and large-scale model evaluation, allowing continuous adaptation rather than static training. The platform provides an "execution layer" for dynamic AI workloads, ensuring models can operate and improve without affecting production systems. CoreWeave Sandboxes can be deployed on the company's infrastructure or through a serverless model in partnership with Weights & Biases. This approach promises continuous online learning and improved GPU utilization, potentially reducing training costs. CoreWeave, originally a crypto mining operation, has pivoted to become a specialized cloud provider, leveraging its GPU expertise to compete with major cloud services like AWS and Google Cloud.
