Cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto is under scrutiny following numerous user complaints about delays in BTC and ETH withdrawals, with some transactions taking several days. According to blockchain analysis firm Recoveris, Zondacrypto's hot wallet BTC balance has plummeted from an average of 55.7 BTC in August 2024 to just 0.18 BTC by March 2026, marking a 99.7% decrease. Additionally, approximately $21 million worth of crypto assets have been transferred to Kraken over the past four months.
Zondacrypto's CEO attributed the withdrawal delays to technical issues and stated that transactions are being processed manually. However, the company has yet to provide proof of reserves to reassure users.
