Pretty Good Policy for Zcash (PGPZ) has officially filed a lobbying registration in Washington effective October 1, with Executive Director Divij Pandya serving as the sole registered lobbyist. The organization will focus its advocacy efforts on the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY Act) and two digital asset tax proposals. Founded in June as an evolution of Electric Coin Co.'s 2022 policy initiative, PGPZ secured a $750,000 grant from Zcash Community Grants in August to fund its first year of operations. The group aims to advance regulatory clarity and favorable tax treatment for the Zcash ecosystem through direct engagement with federal policymakers.
