World has launched World Money, a self-custodial financial super app now available in over 150 countries. The platform integrates stablecoin payments, trading, yield generation, and virtual accounts, allowing users to hold eight currencies and execute cross-border transfers directly within the application. Stripe provides a new US on-ramp enabling Apple Pay funds to convert into stablecoins within minutes. Users who complete World ID verification are eligible for enhanced rewards through Earn programs, though specific features and asset availability vary by jurisdiction. Developed by Tools for Humanity, the project is co-founded by Alex Blania and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
