Wells Fargo significantly increased its holdings in Ethereum ETFs during the first quarter of 2026, according to its latest 13F filing. The bank's stake in BlackRock's ETHA rose by 63.5% to approximately 1.1 million shares, while its position in Bitwise's ETHW increased by 37% to around 257,000 shares. The total value of Wells Fargo's ETH ETF holdings reached approximately $21.5 million by the end of the quarter. In contrast, Wells Fargo's Bitcoin ETF holdings showed mixed results. While IBIT holdings slightly decreased, investments in BITB and the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF grew by 24% and 41%, respectively. IBIT remains the bank's largest cryptocurrency ETF holding, valued at about $250 million. Additionally, Wells Fargo made significant adjustments in crypto-related stocks, notably reducing its stake in Galaxy Digital by 97% and more than doubling its position in Strategy to 726,000 shares, marking a 125% increase.
