Tempo, an Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 network, has announced that Visa, Stripe, and Zodia Custody, a digital asset custody platform under Standard Chartered, have become its initial validator nodes. Tempo focuses on high-throughput payment and stablecoin clearing scenarios and is expanding into new areas such as AI Agent payments. The inclusion of institutions like Visa and Stripe is expected to enhance the security and scalability of Tempo's global payment infrastructure.
