USPD has announced a recovery plan following a CPIMP deployment attack on its V1 platform on December 4, 2025. The attack, which did not stem from a smart contract vulnerability, affected approximately 230 users. In response, USPD will issue redeemable Claim Tokens at a 1:1 ratio to the impacted users in January 2026 and create a protocol revenue compensation pool.
Looking ahead, USPD plans to launch its V2 platform in the second quarter of 2026. The new version will feature a modular architecture, integrate Railgun privacy features by default, and enhance compatibility with DeFi applications, aiming to bolster security and user experience.
