Uniswap has successfully completed its inaugural Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA) in collaboration with Aztec Network, featuring the $AZTEC token. The auction, which took place from December 2 to 6, 2025, attracted 16,658 participants and raised over 19,000 ETH. This event marked a significant milestone with a final fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $557 million.
The CCA mechanism, designed to enhance fair price discovery and liquidity bootstrapping, was implemented on Uniswap v4, effectively eliminating sniping and gas wars. Aztec Network, known for its privacy-focused Ethereum Layer 2 solutions, distributed 14.95% of its total token supply through this auction, seeding $26 million in initial liquidity on Uniswap v4.
