Ukraine's National Police and Security Service have dismantled a network of fake crypto investment platforms that allegedly stole wallet funds from users across more than 20 countries and regions. Investigators said the group used Telegram channels to promote bogus investment offers, directing victims to a counterfeit exchange designed to drain their cryptocurrency wallets.
Authorities have identified 62 victims in countries including Germany, Poland, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Israel. The group's monthly turnover reached as much as $1 million, according to investigators.
