The attacker behind the TrustedVolumes breach has laundered $278,000, according to PeckShield monitoring. The funds were moved through various channels, including a deposit of 10.2 ETH (approximately $23,600) into TornadoCash and a cross-chain conversion of 110 ETH (valued at $2.5 million) to Bitcoin via THORChain. Additionally, an attempt to deposit 0.5 ETH into Railgun was made but later reversed.
The attack on TrustedVolumes occurred on May 7, resulting in losses of around $6.7 million. The recent laundering activities highlight ongoing efforts by the attacker to obscure the trail of stolen funds.
