Trezor has launched a new feature in its Trezor Suite to protect users from maximal extractable value (MEV) manipulation on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Base. This update, integrated into the desktop app, automatically routes transactions through private channels to prevent front-running and other manipulative tactics. By obscuring pending transactions from MEV bots, the feature aims to reduce slippage and enhance transaction reliability. The MEV protection is provided in partnership with Merkle.io, which supplies the private routing infrastructure. Trezor emphasized that this enhancement is part of its commitment to improving security without requiring additional user configuration.
