This new feature operates on Coinbase's Base network, utilizing the x402 protocol to facilitate USDC transactions without gas fees. Travala highlights that this system offers near-instant settlement with a transaction cost of approximately 1 cent, enhancing the efficiency and affordability of crypto-based travel bookings.
