USDC has introduced privacy features on Starknet, utilizing the STRK20 protocol to enhance transaction confidentiality. This new functionality allows users to shield, send, and unshield USDC while maintaining privacy of balances, amounts, and counterparties on the public ledger. Despite these enhancements, USDC remains a dollar-pegged stablecoin. The privacy features are designed to support payments, fund flows, payroll, and on-chain financial activities on Starknet.
