TON Core has commenced the deployment of its Sub-Second upgrade on the mainnet, a consensus layer update aimed at achieving sub-second confirmations and enhancing on-chain responsiveness. The upgrade plan includes updating validator node versions by March 31, activating the new consensus and increasing block frequency on the base chain through validator voting on April 2, and fully implementing the fast consensus mechanism on both the base and main chains by April 7.
