AlphaTON Capital, a Nasdaq-listed TON treasury company, has finalized an agreement to acquire a 60% controlling stake in the gaming platform GAMEE. The transaction is valued at up to $11 million, including a performance-based payment over two years. GAMEE, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, is valued at $18 million in this deal.
As part of the acquisition, AlphaTON Capital will take over the operational management of GAMEE and form a strategic alliance with Animoca Brands. The agreement also includes a clause preventing Animoca Brands from acquiring a controlling stake in AlphaTON Capital for the next two years.
