Fintech company Tare completed a $13.25 million seed funding round led by Blockchain Capital, with participation from Janus Henderson, Strobe Ventures, the Venture Dept, Neoclassic Capital, and Avalanche Foundation. Individual investors included Aave CEO Stani Kulechov, Tether co-founder Phil Potter, and Privy CEO Henri Stern.
The company will use the funds to build and expand loan management software, hire employees, and secure licenses for its lending division, Tare Credit LLC, to operate nationwide in the U.S. Co-founded by Kevin Miao, Keerthi Moudgal, and Lucas Vogelsang, Tare plans to build software on the Avalanche blockchain to create digital loan records and automate administrative tasks.
