Starknet has launched the STRK20 privacy framework, enabling private transfers and balance masking for ERC20 assets on its network. This zero-knowledge solution, already implemented on strkBTC, allows developers to integrate privacy features into various applications such as transfers, exchanges, and payments without creating separate privacy systems. STRK20 employs a unique "masking" mode and a viewing key mechanism to ensure privacy while complying with legal requirements. Starknet CEO Eli Ben-Sasson highlighted the framework's potential to enhance regulatory precision and minimize the impact on numerous wallets.
