Spanish police have seized two cryptocurrency cold wallets during a raid on the country's largest Spanish-language illegal manga distribution platform. According to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, the wallets, hidden inside a wall thermometer, contained approximately €400,000 ($467,000). The platform, operational since 2014, provided free access to pirated manga and generated over €4 million ($4.6 million) in advertising revenue over the past decade. Authorities have arrested three suspects, though it remains unclear if they have obtained the credentials needed to access the funds.
