The Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office in South Korea has successfully recovered 320.8 bitcoins that were previously stolen. These bitcoins were initially seized from a family operating an illegal gambling website. In August of last year, the assets were stolen by hackers after a prosecutor's asset manager fell victim to a phishing scam. Authorities tracked the hackers and froze accounts at domestic and international exchanges to prevent liquidation. Facing obstacles in cashing out, the hackers returned the full amount to the prosecutors' electronic wallet on February 17. The identity of the hackers remains unknown.
