Solana's governance proposal SIMD-0266 has been approved, introducing a new p-tokens model aimed at enhancing computational efficiency. Proposed by Anza last year, this upgrade could theoretically boost Solana's transaction efficiency by up to 19 times. The Solana Foundation's Vice President of Technology announced that the upgrade is expected to go live on the mainnet in April.
