Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB), a digital wholesale bank regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, has partnered with Fireblocks to enhance its digital asset services. This collaboration will leverage Fireblocks' security infrastructure to automate fund operations, optimize liquidity, and provide institutional-grade custody services using multi-party computation (MPC) encryption technology.
SGB CEO Kevin Chen highlighted that the partnership will allow users to access cryptocurrency vaults, perform deposits and withdrawals, and conduct stablecoin transactions more efficiently and securely. The integration with Fireblocks' network, which supports 2,400 institutions, aims to streamline SGB's operations and address the increasing demand for regulated digital asset banking services.
