Cryptocurrency infrastructure firm Zerohash has applied to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) for a national trust bank license. The proposed trust bank aims to offer a range of services including digital asset custody, staking and validation, transfer agency, trade execution, stablecoin management, and settlement, clearing, and custodial accounts. Stephen Gardner, the company's Chief Legal Officer, has been nominated as the CEO of the trust bank.
