Shinhan Financial Investment chief researcher Park Woo-yeol said the traditional 60% stocks and 40% bonds portfolio strategy has become less effective as the correlation between stocks and bonds has increased.
Park recommended allocating 8% of a portfolio to alternative assets and 2% to digital assets. His analysis found that an 8:2 allocation between gold and Bitcoin delivered relatively stronger risk-adjusted performance.
