SemiLiquid has introduced its Programmable Credit Protocol (PCP) during Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2025, marking a significant advancement in institutional credit infrastructure. The protocol enables institutions to activate credit against digital and tokenized assets held in custody without the need to transfer collateral. This innovation is supported by a pilot involving Franklin Templeton, Zodia Custody, Avalanche, and CMS. The PCP aims to modernize the credit landscape by facilitating enforceable, automated lending within custody, thereby reducing counterparty risk and streamlining credit processes. This development represents a strategic move to enhance the efficiency and security of institutional credit operations.
