Sekai, a startup revolutionizing app creation with AI, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round to expand its platform. The company, which allows users to create mini-apps using text prompts, has attracted investment from major venture firms including Khosla Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. This latest funding brings Sekai's total capital to approximately $30 million. Since launching its AI-driven tools, Sekai's platform has seen nearly 1 million mini-apps created in just two months. Users have generated around half a million apps monthly, covering a range of categories such as games and utilities. The platform's AI agents convert plain-language descriptions into interactive applications, enabling users to easily create and share apps in a social feed format, reminiscent of TikTok's viral features.
