AI agent developer Mindverse has completed a $50 million Series A funding round led by Meituan, with participation from Yuanhe PuHua, Variable Capital, and others. The funding will support Mindverse's initiative to open-source its 750 billion-parameter agent model based on GLM 5.1. This model includes a 744 billion-parameter pre-trained base and a 6 billion LoRA component, marking a significant advancement in reinforcement learning post-training.
Mindverse, co-founded by Chen Kaijie and Andrew, is focused on developing native agent models through post-training and continual learning technologies. The company utilizes LoRA technology to enhance learning efficiency, achieving significant cost reductions in post-training. Mindverse's partnerships with Huawei Cloud and Microsoft Cloud aim to provide enterprises with scalable LoRA training and inference solutions. The company also operates the consumer-facing life agent application, Macaron, which boasts 2 million users.
