Sei Network has partnered with Xiaomi to preload a Web3 payment app on new Xiaomi smartphones sold outside mainland China and the U.S. The app, powered by Sei, will support stablecoin payments, peer-to-peer transfers, and DApp integration. The initial rollout is set for Hong Kong and the EU in Q2 2026, with plans to expand to 20,000 Xiaomi retail stores worldwide. Additionally, Sei announced a $5 million Global Mobile Innovation Fund to boost blockchain adoption in consumer devices.
