Sei has clarified rumors regarding its collaboration with Xiaomi, stating that the partnership is limited to pre-installing a Sei-based mobile financial application on Xiaomi devices. This app will provide users with a Web3 entry point. Currently, there is no involvement of Xiaomi in supporting or operating any digital currency payment or stablecoin functions. Sei mentioned that related application capabilities will be rolled out gradually and promised to provide ongoing updates on the progress.
