PowerLattice, a startup founded by engineers from Qualcomm, Nuvei, and Intel, has secured $25 million in Series A funding led by Playground Global and Celesta Capital, increasing its total funding to $31 million. The company claims its innovative power delivery chip technology can cut power consumption by over 50%. Former Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger, now a partner at Playground, lauded the team as a 'dream team'. The first chips, produced by TSMC, are currently undergoing testing by an undisclosed manufacturer. PowerLattice aims to begin customer trials in early 2026, with a focus on major chipmakers such as NVIDIA and AMD.
